When and Where We Meet

Wednesday Morning Prayer Meeting

We meet for prayer every Wednesday morning via Zoom from 7:30-8:00 am. All are welcome as we pray for each other, our communities, our country, and our world.

Service to Our Community

In thanksgiving for the mercies we have been shown, we aspire to “offer our bodies as a living sacrifice” in service to God and our neighbors. In that spirit, we build regular opportunities for service to our community into our life together as House of Mercy. Contact us to learn more.

House Church Wednesday Dinner & Bible Study

We meet each Wednesday evening in the Westville neighborhood of New Haven. For those who are able to arrive early, we have a simple dinner of soup, bread, and beverages at 6:00 p.m. We begin our Bible Study time at 7:30 or so; reading, discussing, and considering the life and work of Jesus together. All are invited, with no regard to how much or how little one may know (or think we know 😀) about the Bible or about Jesus. Contact us for directions. We’d love to meet you!

House Church Worship on Occasional Sundays

Our church planter has served in recent days as the Pastor-in-Residence at First Presbyterian Church in Newport, Rhode Island, and has often been asked to serve at sister churches in the region on Sunday mornings, so we have been meeting here in New Haven for House Church worship and community on occasional Sunday mornings or afternoons or evenings. We’d love to have you join us on those weeks when we meet on Sunday! Contact us if you’d like to stay informed as our plans develop each month!

Spontaneous Get-Togethers!

Coffeehouses and happy hours; backyard firepits, porches, and patios; concerts at the Westville Music Bowl and short drives to the shoreline; hiking and dog-walking; day trips to state parks and city parks; road trips to Uptown Manhattan, Newport, RI, and MASS MoCA in the Berkshires; Sunday worship in Old Greenwich at our sponsoring church; and more. . . . Join us, we’d love to have you along!
